Interstate Transport
Based in Brisbane, D Bay Transport provides local and interstate freight services to Darwin, South Australia and other interstate destinations.
Our equipment supports single trailer work through to double and triple road train combinations, giving us the flexibility to handle different freight volumes and route requirements.
We work closely with customers to confirm the freight details, collection and delivery locations, schedule and access requirements before the load moves.
What We Carry
We transport a wide range of freight, including heavy machinery, manufactured and structural steel, demountable buildings, shipping containers, construction equipment, cars, caravans, motorcycles, palletised freight and general freight.
Heavy machinery capacity is up to 25 tonnes per trailer. Where the freight and route allow, we can tow two additional trailers as part of a triple road train combination.
The transport setup is selected around the freight, its dimensions and weight, the route and the loading requirements.
Road Train and Trailer Capability
D Bay Transport operates Freightliner prime movers rated to 120 tonnes, with 550 horsepower and single, double and triple road train capability.
Available trailer configurations include flatbeds, drop decks with ramps, extendable trailers and tautliners.
This range allows us to match the equipment to the load rather than trying to make every job fit the same transport setup.
