Our Story
D Bay Transport was established in 2024, transitioning from DLW Haulage, which owner operator Dave Winters started in 2019 as the company continued to expand its services.
The name changed, but the experience and reputation built through DLW Haulage carry forward.
With over 15 years of driving experience, Dave remains directly involved in the operation of D Bay Transport. His experience on the road shapes how we quote, plan and carry each load.
Today, D Bay Transport combines that experience with the equipment required for long distance and road train work.
What We Do
We transport a wide range of freight from Brisbane to Darwin, South Australia and other interstate destinations.
Our work includes heavy machinery, manufactured and structural steel, demountable buildings, shipping containers, construction equipment, vehicles, caravans, motorcycles, palletised freight and general freight.
D Bay Transport operates single, double and triple road train combinations, supported by flatbeds, drop decks with ramps, extendable trailers and tautliners.
Our prime movers are rated to 120 tonnes, with heavy machinery capacity of up to 25 tonnes per trailer.
This allows us to match the equipment to the freight, the route and the requirements of each job.
